Team Overview
The Services team works closely together to set PowerSchool customers up for ongoing success through post-implementation support, troubleshooting, consultation on system setup options, and training on features and functionality. The team offers cross-portfolio support, all while meeting organizational objectives for revenue, utilization, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Should know Front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, Angular, and JavaScript.
- Develop scalable web applications and services
- Specialize in client and server side web application development as a member of a project team
- Investigate and resolve issues reported for a large web application following best practices such as authoring or updating unit tests, writing maintainable code, applying established patterns and algorithms
- Proactively come up with product performance issues and provide solutions
- Develop software to support internal initiatives, and tools, update framework and application functionality
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered for and to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.
- 2-5 years experience in software engineer role
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technologies required or equivalent experienc
- Knowledge of current web client technologies including demonstrable proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular
- Strong written and verbal communication skill
