Summary:
Looking for a passionate, hands-on programmer to join our team. The candidate should be a self-starter and a good team player. The role involves working with the larger team to clearly understand customer system design and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the larger PLC Team to understand customer system design/requirements.
- Validate code on SIL or HIL platforms.
- Set up Hardware in the Loop with PLCs and provide over-the-call support to global teams.
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or CodeBlocks.
- Experience with Siemens, Rockwell Automation, Schneider, or similar PLC hardware and software.
- Understanding of Industrial Datalink protocols like Profinet, Profibus, Modbus, or Ethernet IP.
- Good communication skills, as most positions are global.
Preferred Skills:
- Hands-on experience with commissioning Industrial Automation systems (like Siemens, ABB, etc.).
- Experience with software version control tools like GIT.
