Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in database management, Power BI, and data modeling. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, practical problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.

Required Skills:

• Core Database & SQL Fundamentals: Candidates must have a strong understanding of database concepts, normalization, joins, and the ability to write correct SQL queries for business scenarios.
• Power BI – Strong Hands-On Expertise: Candidates should have capabilities in data modeling, building visuals, and understanding Power BI service vs. desktop. Practical usage of Row Level Security (RLS), bookmarks, and filters is essential.
• Practical Problem Solving & Application Skills: Candidates should demonstrate the ability to solve real-world scenarios effectively.
• Data Modeling & Reporting Mindset: Candidates are expected to think in terms of business reporting, understand historical vs. incremental data, and explain how reports scale in terms of performance and refresh strategy.
• Communication & Explanation Clarity: Candidates should have the ability to clearly explain their thought process, walk through logic step by step, and confidently explain why a solution works.
