As a Software Development Manager, you will lead a team of talented SDEs focused on building products & solutions to solve customer problems. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in design, development, test, and deployment, at the same time uphold the bar on Operational Excellence.
Basic Qualifications
- 2 + years of engineering experience
- 2+ years of engineering team management experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/ hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience designing or architecting design patterns, reliability and scaling processes.
Candidates will need to think outside the box to quickly come up with innovative solutions to problems. A successful candidate will have an established background in developing real time scalable systems, a strong technical ability, excellent project management and stakeholder management skills, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
