- Drive automation for OpenShift cluster lifecycle management, including installation, scaling, upgrades, operators, cluster add-ons, networking, ingress, DNS, certificates, and storage integration.
- Guide the team in implementing service mesh automation, including gateways, routing policies, traffic shifting, mTLS policies, observability integrations, and proxy configurations.
- Ensure proper validation of control-plane and data-plane readiness, traffic flows, failover, resilience, rollback behavior, and platform health checks.
- Promote and standardize observability practices, including metrics, logs, tracing, dashboards, alerts, SLO-based validation, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure implementation of Kubernetes and OpenShift security best practices, including RBAC, Security Context Constraints, NetworkPolicies, secrets management, image signing, and image scanning.
- Lead end-to-end troubleshooting of deployment, automation, certification, and platform integration issues across OpenShift, service mesh/proxy, and Oracle 5G NF workloads.
- Continuously improve automation reliability, pipeline efficiency, test coverage, deployment repeatability, and operational excellence.
- Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, career development, and skill growth of engineering team members.
- Communicate project status, risks, technical challenges, and delivery progress to senior leadership and stakeholders.
