Software Development Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead engineering teams to deliver features and projects across legacy ERP, modern services, and EDI workstreams—balancing speed, quality, and resilience.
• Work with partners (customers and vendors) to coordinate work definition and project execution.
• Own delivery commitments with strong execution: planning, milestone shaping, dependency management, and proactive risk handling.
• Ensure high-quality releases through strong code reviews, testing discipline, and architecture governance—so systems are performant, maintainable, and production-ready
• Develop people and grow leaders: coach engineers, create clarity on expectations, and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Balance near-term delivery needs with long-term transformation goals.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in software engineering, with at least 2 years in management or technical leadership.
• Strong understanding of modern software design patterns, cloud-native architecture, and integration frameworks.
• Experience with EDI technology and tools is a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of DevOps practices, automated testing, and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of aligning technical direction with business priorities.
