We're seeking a Software Development Manager to lead an engineering team within Amazon's Center of Excellence for Orchestration (ORCA). This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of Amazon's tier-1, multi-tenant orchestration platform that powers mission-critical business workflows across Amazon's diverse ecosystem, from Retail to Digital Services and beyond.

You'll drive technical excellence by establishing roadmaps and ensuring operational reliability across the platform. Your team will build robust, scalable solutions that maintain high availability for Amazon's most critical business operations. The ideal candidate brings strong technical leadership in distributed systems and workflow orchestration, with exceptional system design skills and a proven track record in engineering management. You'll collaborate with product management, architecture teams, and business stakeholders while maintaining focus on engineering excellence and operational reliability.
