Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead & Inspire:Build, mentor, and motivate a high-performing team. Foster a culture of growth, recognition, and continuous improvement

  • Deliver Impact:Own key product features and ensure projects are delivered on time and with exceptional quality. Remove obstacles and champion engineering excellence

  • Collaborate:Work closely with product managers, designers, architects, and senior leaders to turn business and technical requirements into actionable plans and successful outcomes

  • Drive Innovation:Continuously refine development processes, encouragenew ideas, and help shape the team's vision for both the short and long term

  • Be a Trusted Partner:Advisesenior management, drive alignment, and help implement strategic decisions across your team

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience

  • 3+ years managing software engineering teams using Agile methodologies for Enterprise SaaS applications

  • 10+ years building large-scale commercial backend services (AWS, Java, Spring Boot, MySQL)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

  • Excellent communicator and active listener, comfortable presenting to large audiences and leading group activities

  • Proven mentor witha track recordof developing successful teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience leading high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced product development environment.

  • Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and retaining strong engineering teams

  • Strong people-management skills with experience handling performance reviews, career development, and succession planning.

  • Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment across cross-functional groups

  • Experience leading multi-team or multi-project initiatives with clear business impact

  • Strong background in strategic planning, resource management, and budget forecasting

  • Expertise in setting engineering standards, driving process improvements, and establishing operational excellence

  • Ability to foster a diverse, inclusive, and psychologically safe work culture

  • Experience managing teams in a hybrid or distributed work environment

  • Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities-ability to develop next-generation leaders

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
