GreyOrange is looking for an AI/ML-focused SDET III to build and scale intelligent quality engineering systems for next-generation warehouse automation products. This role goes beyond traditional automation testing and focuses on validating AI/ML-driven workflows, Agentic AI systems, autonomous decision-making pipelines, and automation utilities.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in test automation, AI/ML systems, backend validation, and building utilities/frameworks that reduce manual effort and improve engineering efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and intelligent testing utilities.
- Validate AI/ML workflows, Agentic systems, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Create automation utilities to reduce manual QA efforts and improve operational efficiency.
- Work closely with Product, Engineering, and AI/ML teams during design and development phases.
- Perform API, backend, database, and system-level testing.
- Debug complex issues and act as the first level of troubleshooting for development teams.
- Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to continuous quality improvements.
- Drive innovation in automation, validation, and intelligent testing practices. Required Skills & Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in SDET / QA Automation roles.
- Strong programming and scripting skills in Python.
- Experience working with AI/ML-based systems or intelligent automation platforms.
- Exposure to Agentic AI workflows, LLM-based systems, or autonomous agents.
- Experience creating utilities/tools to automate manual workflows.
- Strong understanding of API testing, backend validation, and automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium, Pytest, Robot Framework, Postman, or similar tools.
- Good knowledge of Unix/Linux, shell scripting, and databases.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced product engineering environments. Good to Have
- Exposure to MLOps, AI validation frameworks, or data testing.
- Experience working with cloud platforms and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of warehouse automation, robotics, or supply chain systems is a plus
