Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented SDET-1 with 1–2 years of experience in automation and quality engineering. You will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test frameworks across web, mobile, and APIs, while ensuring high product quality in a fast-paced, scalable environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Web, Mobile, and APIs
- Execute regression, integration, and end-to-end test suites
- Identify, log, and track defects with clear debugging insights
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
- Contribute to building scalable and reusable automation frameworks
- Participate actively in sprint planning, test case design, and QA reviews
- Work on CI/CD pipelines to enable automated test execution
- Analyze test results, logs, and system behavior to debug failures
- Ensure test coverage, reliability, and performance of applications
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / IT / Engineering
- 1–2 years of experience in QA Automation / SDET role
- Strong understanding of Software Testing concepts and SDLC
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java or Python preferred)
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium / Playwright / Appium
- Hands-on experience in API testing (Postman / REST APIs)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
- Experience with version control systems like Git
- Good understanding of Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience in building or contributing to automation frameworks
- Knowledge of SQL and database validation
- Exposure to performance or load testing tools
- Experience with test reporting tools (Allure, Extent, etc.)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or test infrastructure
