Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web and desktop applications using Selenium/Playwright with Java.
- Design, build, and enhance test automation frameworks for scalability and maintainability.
- Identify, analyze, and report defects, collaborating with development teams to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Implement and execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end automation tests.
- Utilize Appium for mobile application automation (if required) and integrate with existing automation frameworks.
- Develop and execute API testing scripts using REST Assured or similar tools.
- Optimize and refactor existing automation scripts for improved efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and product teams to integrate automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform testing to validate application compatibility.
- Analyze test results, generate reports, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest automation trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in automation testing with Selenium or Playwright using Java.
- Strong expertise in Playwright and/or Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- Experience in Appium for mobile test automation (Android/iOS) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or Cucumber.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
- Experience with API testing using REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools.
- Good knowledge of database validation using SQL.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot automation failures.
- Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like Browser Stack or Sauce Labs is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
