Labcorp is seeking a remote-based Software Development Engineer for our team in Bengaluru city, Karnataka state.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to fullstack development using modern Agile methodologies.
- Develop intuitive applications in collaboration with developers, project managers, analysts, UX designers, QA, and business users.
- Design, build, andmaintainRESTful microservices using Java, Spring, and cloudnative patterns.
- Develop advanced singlepage applications using Angular or React.
- Deliver prototypes, reusable UI components, and maintainable automation solutions.
- Utilize AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, API Gateway, SQS, and DynamoDB
- Incorporate test-driven development practices and integrate automated QA into development workflows.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and improve performance.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Take ownership of assigned modules and deliver features from concept to production.
- Contribute to architectural discussions and engineering process improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing containerbased and serverless applications.
- Experience with messaging services like SQS, Kafka, IBM MQ, or ActiveMQ
- Experience with Terraform andElasticache(Opensearch, Redis,Valkeyetc)
- Experience building largescale, highavailability applications.
Additional Job standards
- 6+ yearsof software development experience in Java or another objectoriented language.(or)6+ yearsof experience developing singlepage applications with Angular or React.
- 3+ yearsof experience building applications using AWS services (Lambda, ECS, IAM, VPC, EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB).
- Strong experience with Spring and RESTful API development.
- Ability to quickly learnnew technologiesand apply them to active projects.
- Strong troubleshooting, problemsolving, and followthrough skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile teams.
