Job Summary
We are looking for a highly driven SDE II to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on expertise in Python, solid backend engineering fundamentals, and the adaptability to contribute to scalable fintech systems. You will play a key role in building robust applications, taking ownership of features, and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.
Where You Can Create Impact
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems, services, and APIs primarily using Python
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
- Leverage modern coding tools and frameworks to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code
- Participate actively in code reviews, architecture discussions, and the implementation of engineering best practices
- Take end-to-end ownership of assigned features—from design and development to deployment and monitoring
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance for a smooth user experience
Requirements
Requirements for the Role
Must Have
- 2-4 years of hands-on software development experience in backend or full-stack engineering roles
- Strong programming expertise in Python and related frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Django, or Flask)
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles
- Proven problem-solving ability with a strong focus on code quality, security, and scalability
- High ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive outcomes and deliver results
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively across teams
Good to Have
- Experience working with AWS or other cloud service providers
- Familiarity with database design (both relational SQL and NoSQL databases)
- Prior exposure to building and deploying cloud-native applications and microservices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and modern DevOps practices
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g., React, Vue) is a plus
