About the Role

We are looking for a Software Development Engineer-II (Backend), with domain knowledge in healthcare. You'll get to work with other engineers to build services that allow our customers to send and receive data to other systems across the healthcare IT ecosystem.

A Day in the Life

• Building efficient and reusable applications and abstractions
• Identify and communicate best practices
• Participate in the project life cycle from pitch/prototyping through definition and design to build, integration, QA, and delivery
• Analyze and improve the performance, scalability, stability, and security of our platform
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

What You Need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience, with a start-up mentality and willingness to learn
• Understanding of, and commitment to, the role of AI in speeding the development process
• Expertise in Python, and RESTful APIs
• Expertise in Kubernetes and Containerisation.
• Experience in RDMBS & NoSQL Databases such as Postgres, MongoDB etc.
• Experience in Solution Architecture.
• Experience in Kafka, RabbitMQ, or any other queuing services is good to have.
• Familiarity with the HL7 FHIR standard, or other healthcare IT interoperability formats such as C-CDA, XDS.b/XCA, or Direct
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
