Role Overview
We are looking for a driven SDE I to join our engineering team and help build scalable, high-impact products. You'll work across the stack, contributing to both frontend and backend systems, while collaborating closely with product and design teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, test, and deploy scalable web applications
- Develop frontend features using React.js and backend services using Node.js
- Work with real-time data systems like Firebase Realtime Database
- Design and integrate APIs following modern web architecture practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product features
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve engineering practices
- Leverage AI tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity
Required Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in software development
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React.js, and Node.js
- Experience with Firebase (Realtime Database) or similar real-time systems
- Familiarity with REST APIs and modern web architecture
- Basic to intermediate understanding of databases (SQL or NoSQL)
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven systems
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Good to Have
- Experience working with AI tools like Claude or GitHub Copilot
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Understanding of performance optimization and scalability
- Prior experience in a startup environment
