We are seeking a Software Engineer to ensure that implementation on Planisware is of high quality, scalable, and maintainable. This individual will perform a key role in developing and optimizing application functionality and system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to continually improve.
Collaborate directly and continuously with the product team and product owner to understand and evaluate current business processes and identify complex business problems and production incidents.
Responsible for defining those needs into well designed technical solutions and developing business features, user stories and fixes using Planisware script/Javascript and SQL on a Planisware based application.
Update automated regression test scripts and execute as needed to meet quality requirements.
Provide production monitoring and end-user support when required to resolve system issues. Participate in incident response, support, recovery, and postmortem analysis.
Required Qualifications:
Planisware Expert certification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
2 + years of experience with object oriented programming such as: Javascript, Java, C#, C++,
Experience with software design practices and overall delivery cycle including requirement gathering, development, testing, debugging, deployment, documentation, production support.
Flexible to work across the teams and adaptive to learn new methodologies & technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work both independently and with a team.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with Planisware software
Familiarity and/or experience with tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, uDeploy, Autosys, PuTTY
Knowledge and working experience with interpreting and implementing security and controls at the application and data level.
