Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) Remote (India)

Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and test suites for web applications and backend APIs using industry-standard tools.
- Develop reliable end-to-end, UI and API automation scripts and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and fast feedback.
- Collaborate with product, backend, and frontend engineers to define test strategy, acceptance criteria, and boundary cases; translate requirements into automated tests.
- Author and maintain BDD/feature tests and data-driven test scenarios; ensure high regression coverage and test reliability across releases.
- Perform root-cause analysis for defects, triage issues with engineering teams, and improve test stability and flakiness mitigation practices.
- Define and report test metrics (coverage, pass rates, automation ROI); drive automation best practices, mentorship, and code quality standards.
