We are driving a major technology transformation to modernize our platforms, accelerate innovation, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

This role is critical in building the technology that powers mobility payment systems used by fleets

across Europe and Asia Pacific. As a Software Development Engineer 3 (SDE3), you will play a key role in developing scalable services, improving architectural maturity, and mentoring junior team members. You will lead the delivery of impactful features and help define system behaviors that serve global customers in EU and APAC.

How you'll make an impact

• Design and implement scalable backend systems and APIs.

• Lead design discussions and own features end-to-end.

• Identify and address tech debt, bottlenecks, and reliability concerns.

• Write high-quality, testable code and support DevOps automation.

• Drive observability, performance, and service reliability improvements.

• Mentor and support the development of junior and mid-level engineers.

• Participate in cross-team technical planning and retrospectives.

Experience you'll bring

• 5–8 years of professional backend engineering experience.

• Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and relational databases.

• Experience with AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, and CI/CD workflows.

• Exposure to distributed systems and event-driven architecture (Kafka preferred).

• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Experience mentoring or leading peers in technical areas.
