Role Overview

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, developing robust and scalable web applications and reporting tools using our diverse tech stack. You will contribute to projects that drive our core business, working with massive data sets, high-volume traffic, and cutting-edge cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using PHP, Python, JavaScript, Node.js, and Scala.

- Optimize and manage databases using MySQL and Amazon Redshift, ensuring high performance and data integrity.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions for multiple domains.

- Handle deployments using Kubernetes and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS.

- Solve complex technical problems, ensuring our systems efficiently handle billions of network requests.

- Write clean, well-tested, and reliable code following best practices.

- Participate in code reviews, and technical discussions, and contribute to continuous improvement.

- Implement monitoring and performance optimization for our large-scale web services.

Technical Skills Required

- Proficient in Java/ Nodejs/python

- Strong understanding ofalgorithms and data structures, with the ability to apply them in practical scenarios.

- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Amazon Redshift)

- Strong understanding of web concepts such as HTTP protocols, caching, and browser-server communication.

- Familiarity with designing systems that handle high-scale traffic and big data environments.

- Solid understanding of REST API concepts, including design principles, and secure authentication (e.g., JWT).

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS Code Pipeline.

- Solid understanding of AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a high-volume, data-driven environment.

- Experience with agile development methodologies.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
