Role Overview

We are looking for an SDE-2 to build scalable backend systems and microservices powering learning and governance products used by millions across India. The role involves end-to-end ownership of REST APIs, backend services, and AI-enhanced solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable REST APIs and backend services.
• Build high-performance, low-latency microservices and distributed systems.
• Develop AI-enabled backend features using tools like LangChain/CrewAI.
• Work on large-scale data handling systems following clean architecture and SOLID principles.
• Collaborate with frontend and infrastructure teams for integration and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Node.js, JavaScript (ES6), Express.js, and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and scalable system design.
• Experience with MySQL, MongoDB/DynamoDB, WebSockets, and complex SQL queries.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Git and AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot/Cursor.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, monitoring tools, and cloud services.
• ReactJS knowledge is a plus.
