POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES(Percent of Time)

1. Build, Document, and Support Solutions for Salesforce.com CRM Platform(50%)

• Design, implement, and support Salesforce solutions based on technical requirements.
• Ensure the solutions are scalable, reliable, and meet business objectives.
• Document all solutions and processes for future reference and support.

2. Write Clean and Efficient Code(25%)

• Follow design patterns established by Zoetis, ensuring all code is scalable and maintainable.
• Adhere to best practices for Salesforce development, writing efficient, optimized code.

3. Participate in Development Ceremonies(10%)

• Actively engage in Agile ceremonies such as scrum, story estimation, and testing to ensure development is on track and aligned with business goals.

4. Perform or Assist in the Execution of Functional Testing(10%)

• Assist in functional testing of solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and work seamlessly.

5. Participate in Knowledge Transfer Activities(5%)

• Share knowledge and best practices with team members, ensuring smooth transitions and collaboration between teams.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS

• Senior Developers, Lead Developers, Product Owners, Testers.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional ZTD Teams (e.g., SAP, etc.).

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Experience:

• 3+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform, including:
• Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (using Lightning Design System framework).
• Experience with data loader and declarative platform tools such as Flows, Process Builder, Lightning App Builder, and Validation Rules.

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

Basic Qualifications:

• Apex development on the Force.com platform (including Apex Classes, Controllers, Triggers).
• Front-end development experience using Visualforce pages, Lightning Design System, Lightning Web Components, and Aura Components.
• Strong knowledge of advanced Apex programming concepts (e.g., core design patterns, limits, bulk patterns, trigger handling, asynchronous operations, unit testing).
• Familiarity with Salesforce API (REST/SOAP/Metadata, etc.).
• Agile methodology and DevOps framework experience.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Dataloader, SOQL, XML, Javascript, Java, jQuery, Angular JS.
• Understanding of the Salesforce product suite (e.g., Salesforce1, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Communities, NetZero Cloud, AppExchange Solutions).
• Knowledge of integrations, including 3rd-party tools like Heroku, XPLENTY, and Postgres DB.
• SAP and Salesforce (SFDC) integration experience is strongly preferred.
• Micro-service and enterprise design patterns knowledge.

Preferred Credentials:

• Salesforce Administrator Certification.
• Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification.

PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Hybrid Work Schedule: Tuesday to Thursday working from the office.
