Software Developer, B2B Integrations & Lab SuccessCompany: Swastya
Location: Remote
Type: Full-time
About SwastyaSwastya is a WhatsApp-first AI health coaching platform with a web layer for dashboards, partner workflows, and product showcases.
Our B2B arm partners with diagnostic labs, clinics, and corporate health programs, bringing Swastya's AI coaching, diet planning, and lab-report intelligence into their existing customer journeys.
This role owns the engineering surface that keeps those partners live, reliable, and growing.
The RoleYou will spend 80–90% of your time on B2B pipelines and integrations, building the connectors, ingestion flows, and internal tooling that take a lab partner from signed contract to users receiving reports and coaching on WhatsApp with zero drama.
The remaining 10–20% of your time will be on our core AI stack, including LangGraph agents, RAG pipelines, and agentic flows, so you stay close to the product that these integrations power.
This is a hands-on builder role with direct partner exposure. You'll work with lab tech teams, debug CSV schemas at 11 PM, and own the success of every partner integration end-to-end.
What You'll DoB2B Pipelines & Lab Integrations — 80–90%- Build and maintain ingestion pipelines for lab partners, including:
- File drops via SFTP/S3
- HL7/FHIR feeds
- REST webhooks
- Custom one-off formats
- Own the partner onboarding pipeline end-to-end:
- Schema mapping
- Lab ID normalization
- Deduplication
- Retries
- Idempotency
- Reconciliation
- Build internal ops tooling and dashboards so non-engineers can monitor:
- Partner health
- Ingestion rates
- Failure reasons
- SLA breaches
- Act as the engineering point of contact for lab partners, working directly with their development and IT teams to debug, design schemas, and ship integrations quickly.
- Improve our integration test harness, fixtures, and QA workflows so partner regressions are caught before they hit production.
- Build the connective tissue between lab data and the WhatsApp coaching surface, including:
- Report-driven nudges
- Triggered campaigns
- Partner-branded flows
Core AI Stack — 10–20%- Contribute to our LangGraph-based agentic flows that drive:
- Health coaching
- Diet planning
- Lab report interpretation
- Improve RAG retrieval quality across:
- Lab reports
- Food data
- Clinical content
- Help evolve our agent tooling, evals, and prompt infrastructure.
What We're Looking ForMust-Haves- 1-2 years of experience building production backend systems in Python using FastAPI, Django, or similar frameworks.
- Strong experience with integration-heavy systems, including:
- File ingestion
- Webhooks
- Queueing
- Retries
- Idempotency
- Schema mapping
- Comfort owning systems end-to-end: design, build, deploy, monitor, debug, and support.
- Working knowledge of SQL and at least one queue or stream system such as Redis, SQS, Kafka, or similar.
- Strong partner/customer-facing communication skills. You should be comfortable joining a call with a lab's IT team and driving technical decisions.
- Bias to ship. You should be comfortable in a startup environment where the spec is half-written and the deadline is tomorrow.
Nice-to-Haves- Hands-on experience with LangGraph, LangChain, or similar agent frameworks.
- Experience working with RAG pipelines, including embeddings, vector stores, and retrieval evals.
- Familiarity with WhatsApp Cloud API, message templates, or conversational platforms.
- Healthcare or diagnostics domain exposure, including HL7, FHIR, LIS systems, or lab report formats.
- Experience building multi-tenant systems with per-partner configuration, branding, and SLAs.
Why This Role- You'll be the engineer behind every lab partnership Swastya signs, with direct and measurable impact on revenue.
- You'll work at the intersection of integrations engineering, platform engineering, and AI engineering — a rare and valuable combination.
- Small team, short feedback loops, no committees.
