About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Software Developer with strong expertise in
Node.js and
NestJS to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications and APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building high-performance systems, working with databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and NestJS.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with Frontend Developers, Product Managers, and QA teams.
- Integrate third-party services, APIs, and payment gateways when required.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
- Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–6 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and NestJS Framework.
- Experience with JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and Microservices Architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar databases.
- Knowledge of Redis, caching mechanisms, and message queues.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized deployments.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of software design patterns and clean architecture principles.
- Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with GraphQL is an added advantage.
