JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated Software Developer Intern to join our engineering team in Kharadi, Pune, for a 6-month internship. The intern will work with experienced engineers on real-world software projects, gaining hands-on experience in development, testing, debugging, Git workflows, and production-quality codebases.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Navigate and understand existing large-scale software and open-source codebases.
• Develop features, enhancements, and bug fixes under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Create and maintain automated tests and troubleshoot software issues.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards.
• Use Git/GitHub for branching, commits, pull requests, and collaboration.
• Document technical decisions and implementation details.
• Collaborate with engineers and independently manage assigned tasks.
• Continuously learn and apply modern software engineering practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in at least one: Python, TypeScript, Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub.
• Basic understanding of automated testing and debugging.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn, take feedback, and work collaboratively.
• Ability to commit to the complete 6-month internship.
• Willingness to work from Kharadi, Pune, as required.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Active GitHub profile with meaningful coding activity.
• Open-source contributions or merged Pull Requests.
• Personal or academic software projects.
• Familiarity with Pytest, Jest, Vitest, Go Test, JUnit, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD.
• Hackathon, coding competition, or previous software internship experience.
