Must-Haves

• 8-12+ years of professional experience in software development, software implementation, or technical configuration roles
• Hands-on experience with Python for scripting, customization, or application development
• Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal) for client interaction and global collaboration
• Experience working in client-facing or stakeholder-driven environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to troubleshoot complex systems
• Experience working in agile or cross-functional teams

Plusses

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Experience in airline, logistics, scheduling, or operations systems
• Exposure to Rave or other rule-based/configuration platforms

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a System Configuration Developer for a global aviation technology client operating out of Bangalore, India.

This role combines software development and client-facing implementation, supporting the delivery of advanced crew and operations management software used by leading airlines worldwide. The developer will customize and configure solutions to align with customer-specific scheduling and operational needs.

This individual will:

• Work closely with international clients to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Build and customize features using Python and internal configuration tools
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical challenges and deliver scalable solutions
• Participate in workshops, requirements gathering, and validation processes
• Help ensure customers maximize value from the platform

The ideal candidate is both technically strong and client-oriented, able to balance coding with business understanding. This role is best suited for someone interested in working on real-world optimization problems in aviation while engaging directly with users and stakeholders globally.

This position pays 9-25 LPA depending on Level of experience
