Software Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and support various connectors provided for both Information Server and Cloud Pak for Data (CPD) platforms through the full software development lifecycle.
• Participate in the design and implementation of complex software systems ensuring high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with Product Architects and Product Managers to understand priorities and execute project deliverables effectively.
• Conduct software design and code reviews with peers to maintain high software quality and promote knowledge sharing.
• Follow professional software engineering practices using tools and methodologies such as Agile Development, Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Source Code Management (Git), and GitHub.
• Ensure comprehensive code coverage, support bug fixes, and participate in deployment to target environments.
• Plan, create, and execute automated test cases including load and performance testing.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and adhere to release processes and compliance requirements.
• Handle and debug customer issues, collaborating closely with L2 support teams.
• Maintain proficiency in software engineering best practices, contributing to the technical growth of team members.
