Drive the architecture and implementation of scalable, enterprise-grade solutions on IBM Cloud and hybrid environments. You will blend deep Java/J2EE expertise with microservices, DevOps, and emerging agentic AI techniquesdesigning frameworks for autonomous agents, RAG-powered assistants, and LLM orchestration. This role partners closely with product teams to deliver robust, explainable, and user-centric services across industries. Key Responsibilities
Architect and develop microservices-based platforms on IBM Cloud (Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes) and hybrid landscapes
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, IBM Cloud Schematics), monitoring (Grafana, Dynatrace) and automated incident management
Lead the integration of agentic AI capabilities: LangChain workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), LLM orchestration, and context-aware chatbots
Define governance models and onboarding flows that ensure transparency, security, and scalability for internal and external stakeholders
Mentor and guide cross-functional teams, conduct code and design reviews, and foster agile best practices (Scrum, Kanban)
Collaborate with product and research groups to embed AI ethics, explainability, and data privacy into every service

Proven track record in transforming monolithic systems into cloud-native microservices
Hands-on experience building unified messaging or event streaming services with GitOps approaches
Prior work on RAG-driven chatbots, context-aware assistants, or cognitive search solutions
Familiarity with IBM watsonx Orchestrate and watsonx.ai
Contributions to patents, open-source AI frameworks, or speaking engagements at industry conference
