We are seeking a skilled Software Developer-GIS to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development with a focus on Geographic Information Systems (GIS). You will be responsible for developing innovative GIS applications and tools that support our clients needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain GIS applications and tools using relevant programming languages.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for GIS projects.
• Design and implement GIS databases and data management strategies.
• Perform spatial analysis and data visualization to support decision-making processes.
• Ensure software quality through testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, preferably in GIS.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as .net, ASP.net, C#.
• Experience with GIS software and tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar.
• Strong understanding of spatial data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with database management systems like PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
