Software Developer Engineer Intern
Internship Duration: 6 Months

About The Role
We are hiring a Software Developer Intern to work on a product-based healthcare platform that handles large-scale, sensitive HCP and clinical data. As an intern, you will contribute to real production-grade systems, work with structured and unstructured data, and help build scalable, secure, and high-performance applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement features for a data-heavy, product-based application
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code following engineering best practices
- Solve complex problems using appropriate data structures and algorithms
- Work with large datasets and optimize APIs and workflows
- Build and integrate REST / GraphQL APIs
- Collaborate with product, data, and engineering teams
- Ensure data quality, performance, and security
- Participate in code reviews and sprint planning
- Assist in data ingestion and scraping pipelines (good to have)
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- Strong command over Data Structures & Algorithms
- Proficiency in anyone programming language (Python, Golang, JavaScript)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Understanding of OOP concepts
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL / NoSQL)
- Familiarity with Git and version control
Good to Have
- Experience with data scraping or data extraction tools
- Exposure to data pipelines or ETL workflows
- Understanding of healthcare or pharma data
- Familiarity with AWS or cloud platforms
- Awareness of security and compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR)

Ideal Candidate Profile
