Software Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Modify software to fix errors, adapt it to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces.
• Direct system testing, validation procedures, and ensure software quality.
• Develop and maintain software programming and documentation.
• Consult with departments or customers on project status, proposals, and technical issues.
• Analyze information to recommend new system installations or modifications to existing systems.
• Work with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces, develop specifications, and define performance requirements.
• Design and develop software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcomes.
• Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status.
• Coordinate with project managers to understand system limitations and capabilities.
