As a Consulting Member of Technical Staff - Security Products Group, you will be responsible for coming up with architecture and helping design, build, test, deploy and operate highly scalable services for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's Cryptography division (Key Management Service). You should be distributed systems generalist and rock solid coder who can dive deep into any part of the stack and low-level systems and design broad distributed system interactions. Your passion for excellence combined with your experience to be an outstanding technical contributor, also help you mentor more junior engineers. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team in an Agile environment collaborating with multiple teams. You should be an expert communicator to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in multiple locations around the globe. You should also be able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, be results-driven, and thrive even when faced with ambiguity and uncertainty. Most importantly, you should be a team player, someone who is eager to learn, and willing to do whatever it takes to help the team succeed.
Required Experience
As a core member of our engineering group, you will:
Lead the architecture, design, and development of next-generation security services, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance
Provide leadership and expertise in building high quality security components, products and solutions that meet stringent enterprise software requirements.
Provide technical guidance for projects in multiple security areas in particular data encryption at rest and Hardware Security Modules (HSMs).
Design and build highly scalable, low-latency distributed systems, ensuring service performance meets stringent latency and availability requirements
Define specifications for new projects, and lead the architecture, design, implementation according to the specifications, drive design and security reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers through the entire launch process.
Facilitate high quality integrations with Oracle products and Oracle business units (Database, Fusion Middleware). Go deeper than exposing APIs and make real-world operational scenarios successful.
Work with team members and managers to improve current products and features, adopt new technologies and better architectural design. Overturn assumptions and think big.
