Data Services organization mission is to provide an easy way to develop advanced analytical and AI applications combining data from across the entire Oracle ecosystem including Databases, Applications, and Object Storages. AI Data Platform (AIDP) provides customers a single pane of glass where they can load and secure data, author Spark notebooks, define data feeds and pipelines, query data with SQL and share data to others. Generative AI and Agentic Flows is a key part of AIDP enabling enterprise customers to solve complex business problems and gain insights. Work You'll Do

As a Senior Software Engineer you will,

• Deliver code with highest quality
• Conduct code reviews
• Participate in design and architecture of Cloud based deployment
• Technically contribute to cloud infrastructure, security, and operations related aspects
• Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering Management and Architects to define and productize functional requirements
• Participate in on-call for the service with the team

What You'll Bring

Must have skills:

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field
• Minimumof 5+ years of work experience
• Technical Skills
  • Strong Java API SDK/CLI development skills using modern IDEs
  • Strong security policy skills in Cloud environment
  • Excellent understanding of public and private networks in Cloud
  • Strong SQL development skills
  • Experience building micro services on Docker container orchestrator like Kubernetes
  • Excellent understanding of object oriented programming concepts
  • Good understanding of testing frameworks
  • Good understanding of Maven and CICD pipelines
  • Development experience in any cloud platform
  • Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in a Cloud environment
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, analytical skills, and thorough understanding of product development lifecycle
• Big Plus
  • Experience with AI Agents and Tools
  • Experience with Code Gen technologies
  • Big Data skills with open source technologies like Spark Execution, ML, Data Frame
