Software Developer(3)

Cradlepoint is seeking a talented and proactive Software Developer to join our team. This will be a pivotal role, contributing to crafting and implementing comprehensive solutions for our esteemed customers in alignment with the SDLC. The successful candidate will be entrusted with intricate application and technical architecture design and coding of software components based on specifications set by our Architects. Furthermore, you will deliver critical support during early and system testing stages to ensure our software components function flawlessly.

What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities

• Be flexible to learn different programming languages and technologies as required by projects.
• Handle various tasks and operations across Linux/Unix/Windows and Solaris Platforms.
• Drive best practices, quality, and consistency within the design and development phases of software.
• Provide direct support to Development Manager efforts as requested, contributing to team goals.
• Develop, test, implement, and maintain application software in accordance with established processes.
• Develop and execute unit test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of software components.
• Deliver critical support during early and system testing stages to ensure software components function flawlessly.

Required Skills

• Experience and strong technical knowledge in C/C++ development using object-oriented methodologies, Pointers, and STL Concepts.
• Experience in developing and deploying C++ components.
• Comfortable maintaining source code control systems, preferably CVS or GIT.
• Hands-on experience in Power/Shell scripting.
• Experience in Basic Oracle/SQL, LINUX, UNIX, Solaris Platforms.
• Exposure to Agile methodology for software development.
• Working knowledge of the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and fundamental Telecom concepts
