Commitment: 10–40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications that support Legal Experts AI's products and services.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and performance issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and software quality.
• Develop and maintain APIs, integrations, and backend services to support web-based applications.
• Assist in creating technical documentation, system specifications, and development workflows.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes.

Requirements

• Have demonstrated experience in software development, application design, and system implementation in a professional environment.
• Be proficient in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C#, or similar technologies.
• Possess strong problem-solving and analytical reasoning skills with the ability to build efficient and scalable solutions.
• Have experience working with databases, APIs, version control systems (Git), and modern development frameworks.
• Be familiar with cloud platforms, software deployment practices, and agile development methodologies.
• Have the ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing AI-powered applications, automation tools, or SaaS products.
• Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of software security best practices and performance optimization techniques.
• Experience working in startup or fast-paced technology environments.
