As a member of Oracle Clusterware development team, join us in design, development, troubleshooting the software infrastructure that enables the Oracle Database (RAC) and other applications to operate in clustered configurations that are highly available and scalable to hundreds of nodes. Oracle Clusterware is the software infrastructure that enables the Oracle Database (RAC)
and other applications to operate in clustered configurations that are highly available and scalable to hundreds of nodes. The Oracle Clusterware infrastructure is the base that allows us to provide 99.999% availability to our customers. Help us solve the complex problems of distributed programming in a cluster. Help us implement geographically distributed
clusters, hierarchical clusters, very large clusters, clusters that support generic applications. Our product is the foundation for all database service offerings in OCI and other hyperscalers.

You will design and develop software systems and components of the Cluster High Availability framework. You will write software that is not only robust and fault resistant, but that also scales to hundreds of nodes. This software will be used all over the world by premier websites, stock trading firms, phone companies and banks.

We prefer applicants who are proficient in C++, C and have good knowledge of Object Orientation techniques. Knowledge of Bourne Shell, Python and Perl is a plus. The candidate should have experience with multi-process and multi-threaded systems and should be comfortable with communications, clusters, high availability, and distributed systems problems and concepts. Should have experience diagnosing, and debugging problems with complex multi-process, multi-node systems. Experience on both Linux, Unix and NT is desirable.
