Software Develoer - AI Agent Systems

About this role which is work from home / remote:

Pehchaan ( Cryptalent Technologies Private Ltd.) is building a smarter, AI-powered hiring and talent evaluation platform. Our systems combine real-time assessments, large language models (LLMs), and AI agents to make the hiring process faster, fairer, and more scalable. As we continue to innovate, we're looking for interns who want to build real-world systems with AI, not just tinker with toy examples. We're seeking a software developer intern with experience in Python-based agent systems and LLM frameworks like Lang-chain, Crew AI, or similar. You will help design, build, and deploy AI agents that assist with complex reasoning, automation, and decision-making tasks. This role is ideal for someone who has already shipped an LLM-powered project (even a small one) and wants to go deeper into applied AI.

Selected candidate's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Build and optimize multi-agent systems using frameworks like Langchain or Crew AI.

2. Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or open-source) with external tools, APIs, and vector databases.

3. Participate in the design and development of agent workflows for real product use cases.

4. Debug and improve prompt logic, chaining, and agent reasoning performance.

5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on real-world applications and use cases.

Other requirements

1. Proficient in Python, with strong fundamentals.

2. Prior experience using LLM agent frameworks like Langchain, Crew AI, or equivalent.

3. Must have built at least one functioning project that uses LLMs (internships, personal projects, research, etc.).

4. Comfort with API integrations, prompt design, and handling JSON-based agent outputs.

5. Curiosity and willingness to learn fast and build experimental systems in production settings.

Bonus Points:

6. Previous internship or research experience with LLMs or AI agents.

7. Experience with RAG pipelines, vector stores (e.g., Qdrant, Pinecone), or tool integrations.

8. Exposure to serverless APIs or backend integration for agent deployment.

9. Participation in open-source projects or hackathons involving AI.

10. Experience in building full-stack web applications with React and Node.js.
