Software Dev Engineer II

Summary:

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in software development with expertise in AWS, AI technology, and distributed systems. They must be detail-oriented, possess superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and be able to work independently while maintaining professionalism under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Develop monitoring solutions and implement AI-driven development practices.
• Troubleshoot/debug and implement fixes for internally developed code (Java, React, etc.).
• Design and implement distributed systems using AWS serverless technologies.
• Implement and maintain GenAI-based solutions within our SDLC.
• Work alongside development teams on Company Corporate and Divisional Software projects.
• Automate support processes and maintain system documentation.

Requirements:

• 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• Computer Science degree or equivalent technical degree.

Required Skills:

• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Preferred Skills:

• 3 years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
