We are seeking a motivated Junior Golang Engineer to join our Cloud Secure Edge (CSE) team at SonicWall. In this role, you will contribute to building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services that power next-generation cloud-delivered security solutions aligned with Zero Trust and SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services using Go (Golang)

Build and enhance RESTful APIs focusing on performance, scalability, and security

Collaborate with senior engineers to translate product requirements into technical solutions

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices

Participate in code reviews and continuously improve code quality

Debug and resolve issues across development and production environments

Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Maintain and update technical documentation

Required Skills:

Basic programming experience in Golang, C/C++, Java, or similar backend language

Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and core computer science fundamentals

Familiarity with REST APIs and web services

Basic knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases

Exposure to Linux/Unix environments

Good analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills

Good to Have:

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Understanding of microservices architecture

Familiarity with Git or version control systems

Awareness of concurrency or multithreading concepts

Interest in network security concepts such as Zero Trust, SASE, VPNs, and secure access technologies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Strong academic foundation with internship, project, or hands-on coding experience preferred
