We are building amobile-first AI-integrated Energy Management System (EMS)for residential solar and smart homes. We're looking for abackend engineerwho enjoys shipping real products fast and integrating AI into practical applications.
What you'll do
- Design ML-integrated backend architecture and
- Build and own backend APIs for a mobile energy management app
- Design simple, robust architecture that supports AI-integrated features today and AI-native evolution later
- Integrate ML model outputs (in-house & 3rd-party) into user-facing features like alerts and insights
- Work closely with mobile (Flutter / React Native) and IoT engineers as real hardware data comes online
- Support a lightweight internal web app for operations and monitoring
Tech focus
- Backend: Python (FastAPI)is mandatory
- Backend: Node.js is advantageous
- APIs: REST, auth, versioning, application-friendly design (web & mobile)
- Data: DynamoDB, PostgreSQL (compatible with time-series data)
- Cloud: AWS, Docker, CI/CD
Who you are
- 13 years experience in full-stack or strong backend development experience inPython(FastAPI)
- Designing and building production-ready REST APIs
- Owning backend logic, data models, and AI/ML integration workflows
- Deploying Python services in cloud environments (AWS/GCP)
- Systems thinker with AI/ML integration and wrapping
- Ambitious in growing into acore technical leadership roleas the product scales
- Experience withNode.js(nice-to-have)
- Familiarity with mobile-friendly API design (nice-to-have)
- Exposure to IoT, time-series data (nice-to-have)
Job details
- Location: Coimbatore (100% On-site)
- Start Date: Immediate (asap), or from Feb 2026
- Compensation: 4.2 to 6 LPA. Further negotiable in 6 months, upon proving with results and developing strong skillsets that are required for the role.
