About the Team:
IW Technology is responsible to develop improved design of wind turbine gearboxes. It supports design departments and defines how verifications have to be carried out. Process & Data, as one of the teams in IW Technology, is responsible to improve the design process by automation of calculations, centralization of data and standardization of processes. The team is international: team lead in Germany, members currently all in India (Coimbatore).

What you can look forward to as Software & Automation Engineer (m/f/d):

• Development of tools and software components for engineering purposes
• REST API development, GUI/UI development
• Service maintenance (operational) & Data(base) management
• Interaction with Engineering Tools

Your profile as Software & Automation Engineer (m/f/d):

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science Engineering or related branches. Professional experience: >5 Years (>3 years if master's degree)
• General good comprehension of mechanical assembly structures and functioning (most important: Gearboxes)
• Sound Knowledge in Functional and Object-Oriented Programming
• Sound Knowledge in Python 3.x and/or JavaScript / Svelte
• Sound knowledge of REST APIs and web UI development
• Basic knowledge in CI/CD practices including test driven development
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure functioning.
