Job Role: ITSM Software Asset Management

Job Locations: Hyderabad

Experience Range: Min 8 years to 10 years

Required Skills:

ITIL Process Foundation (v4 or v3-2011) / Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) / ITSM Life Cycle Management

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency):

• Should have min 5 years’ work experience in IT Asset Management process.
• Should have in-depth knowledge in ITAM – Software Asset Management process/practice.
• Should have experience in developing, documenting, communicating, and maintaining Software Asset Management process and procedures.
• Should have experience in leading Software Asset management activities within a structured process framework, which includes but is not limited to the following:
• Manage software licenses, contracts, software licensing agreements, software inventory management, license usage, modeling, optimization, compliance, etc.
• Supporting Software procurement.
• Coordinate software license and maintenance agreement reviews.
• Manage the lifecycle of software assets - identification, requisition, ordering, inventory, packaging, installation, maintenance & retirement/disposal.
• Maintain Software Asset Data through discovery/input, maintenance, update, tracking, and reporting.
• Ensure the accuracy of the software asset data in the IT Asset Management Database system as per agreed service levels.
• Provide inquiry and reporting access to the Asset Management Database System for all software assets.
• Ensure knowledge transfer and deliver specialized training resources to an appropriate user base.
• Should have relevant knowledge and understanding of all other ITIL ITSM Processes, namely Incident, Problem, Knowledge, Request Fulfillment, Configuration Management, Service Level Management, Hardware Asset Management, Infrastructure criticality, Priorities, etc.
• Should have Knowledge in SLA/KPI/Technical KPI in Infrastructure Environment and experience in preparing & analyzing Reports/Dashboards.
• Should have knowledge of using Service Management Ticketing Tools and Software Asset Management tools.
• Should have experience in ensuring organization compliance requirements with IT Software Asset Management process.

· An effective communicator with exceptional relationship management skills and the ability to relate to people at the appropriate level in the organization.

• Demonstrated abilities in leading & motivating large teams, organizing training programmers for enhancing the personnel skills.
• Presentation skill, exceptional Verbal, and Written Communication Skills
• Basic knowledge in the following:
• SAM Tools – discovery mechanism and basic reports.
• Technical licensing of known software vendors (Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, SAP etc.)
• Datacenter software licensing.
• Procurement & Vendor management process.
• Interpersonal Skills
