Job Description :

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and maintain SW Architectures in AUTOSAR context using state-of-the art methods and tools.

• Define static and dynamic architectural designs based on software requirements from customer and internal software requirement specifications.

• Apply SW architecture modeling standards such as UML and taking into account standard design principles and limitations, e.g. AUTOSAR or SW architecture, OS and memory constraints, communication, diagnostics, functional safety and cybersecurity

• Verify architectural designs by review, simulation and target measurements

• Deliver architecture design documents and descriptions in ARXML notation

• Support safety & security analyses

• Report Quality & Progress metrics to project and line management

• Support SW Project Manager on detailed planning and team coordination.

• Work in close collaboration with system architects, software requirement engineers, software developers and software integrators.

• Ensure compliance to internal and external standards including functional safety and cyber security.

• Support analysis of defects and changes on architectural level.

• Participate in review of software requirements and system requirement / architecture documents

• Participate in ASPICE audits (both internal and external)

• Create bidriectional traceability for work products.

Who you'll be

To be successful in this position, you will have proven experience in Automotive domain and hands on experience in SW Architectural Design definition based on AUTOSAR Classic architecture

Specific Functional Capabilities, Knowledge and Skills Required

Essential Skills

• Engineering or Post Graduate Engineering degree in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or related

• 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Automotive domain

• Hands on experience in defining software architectural designs based on specification

• Experience with making design decisions and optimization techniques

• Experience in AUTOSAR Classic architecture

Driving platform development as ambassador of architectural driven development

• Prior experience with software detailed design and implementation

• Experience with integration of third party safety components

• Hands on experience in Powertrain or Chassis domain

• Experience in working with AUTOSAR Classic software

• Experience in ISO26262:2018 Part 6 – Functional Safety

• Experience in working in ASPICE process landscape

• Ability to manage stakeholders from system and software teams and clarify their questions

• Good understanding of SW requirement specification

• Excellent knowledge of architectural design specifications (UML, SysML)

• Good understanding of C Language

• Fundamental understanding of qualification test engineering
