Role Summary : The Software Architect will lead the design and high-level technical direction of our software platforms. This role ensures that solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives. The architect will work closely with engineering teams, product management, and stakeholders to define system architecture, guide implementation, and uphold engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and maintain the overall software architecture and technical roadmap. Evaluate business requirements and translate them into scalable system designs.

Work with engineering teams to guide technical decisions, design patterns, and platform choices.

Conduct architectural reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.

Identify and mitigate technical risks, performance bottlenecks, and security gaps.

Establish and document architectural standards, guidelines, and governance processes.

Collaborate with DevOps to ensure reliable deployment pipelines, observability, and infrastructure alignment.

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and assess their relevance to organizational needs.

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

8+ years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 3 years in an architecture or senior technical leadership role.

Strong proficiency in system design, distributed systems, API design, databases, and cloud architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and modern application frameworks. Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.

Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
