Position Summary

SII Group is seeking an experienced Software Architect / Senior Java Backend Developer to join our growing engineering team in Noida.

This role is ideal for a highly skilled technology professional with extensive experience in Java-based enterprise application development, Microservices Architecture, Event-Driven Systems, Cloud Platforms, DevOps practices, and Technical Leadership. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, resilient, and cloud-native solutions for global customers.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture & Design

• Design and implement scalable cloud-native architectures.
• Define technical standards, design guidelines, and best practices.
• Drive modernization of legacy applications and platforms.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, scalability, and system resilience.

Application Development

• Develop enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring technologies.
• Design RESTful APIs and distributed microservices.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka.
• Build high-performance backend systems capable of handling large transaction volumes.

Cloud & DevOps

• Design and deploy applications on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines.
• Support infrastructure automation and deployment automation initiatives.

Leadership & Governance

• Lead technical discussions and architecture reviews.
• Mentor developers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and project teams.
• Drive engineering excellence through code reviews and best practices.

Performance & Reliability

• Optimize application performance and system efficiency.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and resiliency patterns.
• Support root cause analysis and production issue resolution.
