Software Architect - Dot Net (Contract)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to lead the design and technical direction of a cloud-based application for an energy software company in Katy, Houston. This is a hands-on, short-term contract role ideal for someone with 10-15 years of experience who can provide architectural oversight and mentor a mid-sized development team.

Key Responsibilities:
. Define and guide the architecture of a cloud-native application built on .NET with a React or Angular frontend.
. Collaborate with a team of 6-7 developers to ensure quality, scalability, and maintainability.
. Provide hands-on architectural guidance and conduct code/design reviews.
. Align technical decisions with business goals and project timelines.

Required Skills:
. 10-15 years of experience in software development and architecture.
. Strong knowledge of .NET platform and frontend frameworks (React or Angular).
. Experience building and deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.
. Ability to lead technical discussions, document architecture, and mentor engineers.
