Software Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect with a strong background in Java and Telecom Charging Systems to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience in software design, development, and architecture within the telecom domain. Candidates from the telecom industry will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the architectural vision for telecom charging solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Lead the design and development of complex, high-performance backend systems using Java and related technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, business analysts, and developers to deliver robust software solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.
• Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
• Ensure compliance with telecom standards and regulatory requirements.
• Optimize system performance and proactively address system bottlenecks.
• Review and improve code quality, design patterns, and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development with at least 5 years in architecture or technical leadership roles.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, and Microservices architecture.
• Proven experience in Telecom BSS/OSS, especially in Charging Systems (OCS, OFCS, IN, PCRF).
• In-depth understanding of telecom protocols such as Diameter, Gx/Gy, and CAMEL.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with 3GPP standards and evolving 5G core architecture.
• Exposure to containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in implementing real-time charging systems or policy control functions.
