Software Architect

Education: BCA/ MCA/ BE/ BTech (Preferably in Comp Sc/IT)

Technical Skills Required:

• Extensive experience in Linux-based software development (8+ yrs.) for network security products (preferably).
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Python, C#, typescript on dotnet core etc.
• Experience with software architecture and design patterns for network security products. at least2 projects
• Experience with distributed software development and deployment at least 1 project
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead and mentor software development teams.
• Knowledge of network security concepts such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, VPNs, etc. at least 1-2 project
• Ability to conduct security analysis and risk assessments. at least1 project
• Knowledge of security standards such as OWASP, PCI DSS, etc. and how to implement them in software development.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing network security products using Linux-based technologies and programming languages such as C++ (must), Python, dotnet core etc.
• Developing system architecture and designing software solutions for complex network security problems.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and security operations to ensure successful product delivery.
• Conducting security analysis and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in the system and developing mitigation strategies.
• Creating and reviewing technical documentation such as software requirements, design documents, and technical manuals.
• Providing technical guidance to development teams and ensuring that best practices are being followed.
• Ensuring that the software development process adheres to industry security standards such as OWASP,PCI DSS, etc.
• Staying up to date with emerging security technologies and industry trends.
