Wolters Kluwer - DXG is looking for an accomplished hands-on Architect with a lead by design approach to problem-solving. This role will be reporting to the Development Manager and will be working closely with both internal& externalintegration teams.

The LCC platform - short for Lippincott ClinicalContextforms a key part of the Medical Education/Medical Practice division of theHealthsolutionsofferingfrom WK - deliveringa aninteractive experience for health professionals and students. You will be joining a team of highly skilled engineers that are continuing to shape this platform into an enterprise scale application. The candidate will also be responsible to mentor developers who are part of this high performing scrum team, while shaping and defining industry best practices for development engineering, process, codereviews andcoding standards.

This role entails

• Hands-on developmentskills,-The candidate should be willing and able to learn the Node.js technology stack and allied frameworks to effectively contribute across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• A deep knowledge and understanding of application design and architecture principles

• Awareness and application of the latest in secure coding practices

• Experience with performance optimization

• Ability todemonstratean in depth understanding of the SDLC engineering and release cycles in theirday to daywork

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and understand contextual requirements

• Out of the box creative thinker - offering solutions forday to dayissues

• Design, debug implementations of complex software solutions using NodeJS

• Translate requirements to solution design

• Analyze,planand estimate simple to complex development tasks

• Take ownership for a business feature from its technical design, through development and all the way through to release

• Perform code review and refactoring with other developers

• Navigate through the SDLC (including but not limited to) - Coding, Unit testing, Integration testing

• Working closely with QA partners, Coverage/assistanceduring UAT, Production support/debugging issues

• Plan, prioritize, and effectively complete tasksin order tomeet critical project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Scienceor a related field

• 10+ years of relevant development experience

• 8plusyearsof industry experience developing web-based applications usingmodernlanguages.UsageofNodeJSisabigplus.

• Must havedemonstrateduse of architecture design patterns in the last 3 projects

• Must have a working understanding of SDLC

• Must have knowledge of agile/scrum/lean development practices and associated tools

• Must have strong analytical thinking, writing, problemsolvingand excellent communication skills

• Must have hands-on experience with container technologies such as Docker

• Must have stronghands onexperience in cloud native application development (AWS)

• Ability to document technical specifications, design artifacts and organize code

• Ability to interpret andidentifypatterns from APM tools and reporting dashboards

• Experience working and contributing to CI/CD and DevOps projects

• Experience integrating/communicating between multiple systems/applications

• Experience and understanding of search technologies and caching strategies

• Experience and understanding of Git Source control, andGitflowbranchingmethodologywith emphasis on working with strategies that relate to the master/develop/feature/release branches

• Experience working with SPAs such as Angular, Reactis preferred

• Experience working with JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket is preferred

• Working knowledge of JSON, XML,Schemaand database models

• Working knowledge of building and consuming third-party APIs and familiarity with tools such as Postman
