Koch Industries is seeking a Full‑Stack Web Developer with 3–6 years of experience to design, build, and maintain modern web applications that support business workflows and digital transformation initiatives. In this role, you will develop responsive frontend experiences, scalable backend services, and cloud‑native applications while contributing to the integration of AI‑powered capabilities into enterprise web solutions.

Responsibilities
What You Will Do
Design, develop, and maintain full‑stack web applications using React, TypeScript, Python, and FastAPI.
Build responsive user interfaces and reusable frontend components following modern UI and frontend architecture best practices.
Develop backend APIs, business logic, and integrations with relational databases using SQL.
Deploy, operate, and support applications on AWS using services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, CloudFront, and CloudFormation.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business and user requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Integrate AI‑powered capabilities such as chat assistants, copilots, workflow automation, or intelligent search into web applications.
Support agent‑based UI development and connect frontend experiences with AI/LLM‑powered backend services.
Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following software engineering best practices.
Troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and continuously enhance applications across the full stack.
Maintain documentation for application architecture, APIs, integrations, and deployment workflows.
Success Measures
Web applications are delivered on time, meet business requirements, and perform reliably in production or near‑production environments.
Frontend and backend components are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
AI‑powered features are effectively integrated into user workflows and enhance usability and productivity.
Code quality, documentation, and testing standards are consistently met.
Strong collaboration with stakeholders and team members results in effective and sustainable technical solutions.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in full‑stack web development or software engineering.
Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, and JavaScript for frontend development.
Hands‑on experience with Python and building APIs using FastAPI.
Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
Experience working with AWS cloud services and deploying cloud‑native applications.
Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and secure application development practices.
Experience using version control systems such as Git and working in collaborative development environments.
Awareness of software development best practices, including testing, debugging, and code reviews.
Willingness and ability to learn emerging technologies, especially in AI, cloud, and application integration.
What Will Put You Ahead
Exposure to AWS Bedrock and foundation model integration.
Familiarity with AI/LLM application development, including prompt design, guardrails, and basic agent orchestration.
Experience with OpenAI, Claude, or similar LLM APIs and SDKs.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and debugging applications in cloud environments.
