Location: Coimbatore

Salary: Up to 4 - 5LPA (based on experience & skills)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Soft Skills Trainer to enhance the communication, interpersonal, and professional skills of hospital staff. The role focuses on improving patient experience, internal collaboration, and service excellence across clinical and non-clinical teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver soft skills training programs for hospital staff (doctors, nurses, front office, support staff, and management)
  • Conduct training sessions on communication skills, patient handling, empathy, body language, etiquette, teamwork, and conflict management
  • Train staff on customer service excellence and patient-centric communication
  • Identify training needs through interaction with department heads and HR
  • Customize content based on hospital standards, NABH guidelines, and organizational culture
  • Use engaging training methodologies such as role plays, case studies, simulations, and group activities
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and provide feedback reports
  • Support onboarding and induction programs for new employees
  • Maintain training records and documentation

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Malayalam & Tamil Mandatory)
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills
  • Good understanding of hospital operations and patient interaction dynamics
  • Ability to engage diverse groups and handle sensitive situations
  • Positive attitude with high emotional intelligence
  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (MBA / Psychology / HR / Training & Development preferred)
  • Certification in soft skills training or related programs is an added advantage

Experience

  • 25 years of experience as a Soft Skills Trainer
  • Prior experience in the hospital or healthcare industry is highly preferred
